Thinking
they had a
'Munchaussen's' case on their hands, CPS openly supported Mr. Loza and
did not investigate concerns about the children, regardless of the
source.
- CPS did not investigate Dr. Mitros
Note:
Dr.
Katarzyna Mitros paid several thousand dollars to an attorney to
protect the children from Mr. Loza. A
child-care provider would not give that much money without a
real, firm, and personal conviction, based on direct observations, that
the children needed to be
protected. (also see Dr. Mitros' observations
of Jan and Leo)
- CPS
ignored Kristen Stevens
- CPS left out Mary
Shepherd's concerns
Note:
Mary, a teacher employed
by AISD, had several run-ins with Mr. Loza re. his views about young
boys and sex.
As
a result of an internal investigation initiated by then-Senator Gonzalo
Barrientos, CPS revealed that they had made numerous omissions
and mistakes in their
support of Mr. Loza. Their response? --entrench in their position
and cover up.
Dr. Katarzyna wrote a
letter to the Executive Director re. lack of investigation:
Kristen
Stevens complained that CPS ignored her concerns:
Mary Shepherd protested
the way CPS
ignored her concerns about an argument she had with Leo re. sex and
young children:
